Found

found you in a box
in my dreams, in my soul, found you
smiling from a larger-than-life
laughing in a technicolor
found you everywhere and only there
first you were on the screen
then you stepped off it and
into me
found you in

found in you more questions
more answers, more than
I ever knew I wanted, needed, found in
you a mirror for agony and found
in you something more than ever
I thought and I wonder
always why not everyone
found you and found in you
so much more
than they found only a dead movie star
and I found an unforgettable life

they found Marilyn
I found you
